Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Farwork (“Platform”), a technology job board operated by Mono Software (OPC) Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using farwork.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform. By using Farwork, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Use of the Platform is void where prohibited by applicable law.

3. User Types

3.1 Employers

Employers are companies or individuals who post job listings on the Platform. By posting a job, employers agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about the role and company.
  • Confirm that the role is genuinely open to applicants worldwide with no country or region restrictions, before selecting the truly remote designation.
  • Use a valid company email address. Personal email domains including gmail.com, yahoo.com, icloud.com, outlook.com, and similar are not permitted.
  • Not post roles that are misleading, discriminatory, illegal, or otherwise harmful.

3.2 Job Seekers

Job seekers are individuals who browse listings and create profiles on the Platform. By creating a profile, job seekers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about their skills, experience, and availability.
  • Not misrepresent their identity or professional qualifications.
  • Use their profile data only for legitimate job-seeking purposes.

4. Job Listings

4.1 Posting

Job listings may be submitted by employers via the job submission form at farwork.io/hire. Each listing is subject to review by Farwork before going live. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including listings that:

  • Contain false or misleading information.
  • Are not genuinely open to worldwide applicants despite being marked as truly remote.
  • Violate applicable laws or these Terms.
  • Are duplicates or spam.

4.2 Listing Duration

Each paid listing remains active for 30 days from the date it goes live. After 30 days, the listing expires automatically and is removed from public view. Employers may repost a listing by submitting a new job and completing payment.

Employers may choose to feature their listing on the Farwork homepage for an additional fee. Featured listings are limited to 3 slots at any time and are displayed on a first-come, first-served basis. Featured status is subject to the same 30-day duration as standard listings.

5. Payments

All payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), a third-party payment processor. Farwork does not store your payment card details. By completing a payment, you agree to Polar’s terms of service and privacy policy.

All fees are listed in USD. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your jurisdiction.

5.1 Refunds

  • If a listing is rejected before going live because it does not meet our truly remote criteria, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days.
  • If a listing is removed after going live, no refund will be issued. By ticking the worldwide confirmation checkbox at submission, you explicitly confirmed the role is truly remote and acknowledged that listings found to be non-remote will be removed without refund.
  • All other payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to the Farwork name, logo, design, and software, is the property of Mono Software (OPC) Private Limited or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Job listings submitted by employers remain the intellectual property of the submitting employer. By submitting a listing, you grant Farwork a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute the listing content on the Platform and in email digests.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically collect data from the Platform without our express written consent.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm any other user of the Platform.
  • Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial communications.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Farwork does not verify the accuracy of job listings beyond confirming that employers have agreed to the worldwide remote requirement. We are not responsible for the conduct of employers or job seekers, or for any employment outcome resulting from use of the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mono Software (OPC) Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
