Mono Software (OPC) Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates Farwork at farwork.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Platform. By using Farwork, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

2.1 Employers

When you post a job on Farwork, we collect:

• Your name and company email address.
• Company name, website, public-facing company email, and company description.
• Job listing details including role title, description, category, type, and application URL.
• Payment confirmation details provided by Polar. We do not store card numbers or banking information.

2.2 Job Seekers

When you create a profile or sign up for job alerts, we collect:

• Your name and email address.
• Professional information including job title, bio, years of experience, tech stack, timezone, and availability status.
• Links to your GitHub, LinkedIn, and portfolio if provided.
• Alert preferences including stack filters and digest frequency.

2.3 All Visitors

When you visit Farwork, we may collect:

• Usage data including pages visited, time on site, and referring URLs, via Google Analytics.
• Device and browser information collected automatically by Google Analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Display job listings on the Platform.
• Send job posting confirmation emails to employers via Resend.
• Send job alert digest emails to job seekers who have opted in, via Resend.
• Improve the Platform and understand how users interact with it.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is stored in servers located outside India. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer of data.

We retain your data for as long as your account or profile is active, or as long as necessary to provide the Platform services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Polar (polar.sh) — payment processing. Polar’s privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.
• Resend — transactional and digest email delivery.
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics. You may opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• DigitalOcean App Platform — hosting infrastructure.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing the data they process on our behalf.

6. Cookies

Farwork uses cookies solely for Google Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of the Platform.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• The right to access the personal information we hold about you.
• The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• The right to request deletion of your personal information.
